We thank God for the recent good visits of vision teams from the United States as they observed work going on in Cardiff and made plans to join us with volunteers later in the year.
Pray for team members’ ongoing relationship and witness with those God has brought into close contact with our lives.
Tom is currently leading a study of “On Mission With God” at a church across town in an area where many Somali people live. We pray it will result in the church getting involved in reaching Somalis for Christ.
The outreach times at our church continue to grow. We are having as many as 50 people at sewing and recreation times. We are asking the Lord to send more helpers so that we can give more time to individual conversations.
Also three English as a Second Language classes have been started in the church with four ladies from the church teaching international men.
Not long ago, they would have been afraid to attempt any such thing.
Now they are loving the associations and sharing opportunities they have. God is definitely at work.
