The “bingo” crowd is still blowing the multicolored smoke trying to make it look like a rainbow. At the end of this rainbow is supposed to be a giant pot of gold just waiting to be picked up. They still are calling it a prize for charity. Names don’t mean much anymore. I can call sewage ice cream, but I don’t think you would buy it when you got to the smell, and if you get close to this, you will find it stinks.
When doctors treat major health problems, they have to treat a lot of symptoms. They treat these while they are getting to the root of the problem. In the same way, we have to work with the problems of the world while trying to get to the main problem. The main problem with mankind is sin.
When a person is right with God, he will not covet. That’s what gambling is — wanting something that belongs to another without working for it.
