The Lesters are beginning 2006 with a new recording, “We Will Stand.”

Their first release for Song Garden Records, “We Will Stand” showcases the newest version of The Lesters, but even more importantly, it continues the long-standing Lesters tradition of high quality.

As a bonus, there are two songs on this recording with the potential to become powerhouses for The Lesters.

In order of appearance, there’s the title song, “We Will Stand” — great direction for every Christian. Then there’s “Standing My Ground.” Given half a chance, The Lesters could garner strong airplay for either of these songs, which, in turn, could help increase their presence on the southern gospel concert circuit.

Not to be left out, the other 10 songs on “We Will Stand” contribute greatly to the project’s appeal. “I’ve Seen The Light,” “I Get To Go,” “Wonders Never Cease,” “By The Grace Of God,” “The Perfect Rose,” “If You Ever Needed The Lord Before/Standing In The Need Of Prayer,” “There’s Still Wonder Working Power,” “Someday I’ll Reach That Glory Land,” “Mercy” and “In The Shelter Of His Arms” are certainly worthy of listening attention.
