Praise the Lord for the arrival of Daniel, a recent college graduate and member of 2005 American Nehemiah Teams. He arrived Jan. 15 and will be here until the end of July. Pray that Daniel will be diligent in his language and cultural study. Pray for his training and as he travels.
We received a message from Pastor Tony, who is our partner in the Waray areas. He is requesting that this year’s Nehemiah Teams to his area have additional training in discipleship.
He is praying for workers to help in basic discipleship to train the new believers. We see this as a direct answer to the many prayers for the Waray people and evangelism in these areas over the past few years.
Volunteer teams are requested to come through June to help with the ongoing construction. An electrician or carpenter would be a great help. (Contact our volunteer coordinator at doris@fbcfp.org.)
By the end of February, the roofs will be complete on the three smaller cabins. The Lord has continued to show His faithfulness in providing needed funds for this project. Our prayer is that this facility will be used in training many to reach the unreached of the Philippines, Asia and throughout the world.
