Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: I came to know the Lord in a revival when I was 15 years old.

Q: How have you been involved in church through the years?
A: I have been WMU (Woman’s Missionary Union) director. I served 20 years as church secretary. I taught children and adult Sunday School and sang in choir. Presently I am the church pianist.

Q: How have churches changed over the years?
A: They are much less structured and (more) casual than when I was a child. People dress more casually. When I was growing up, you wore a hat, gloves and the very best clothes you owned to church. There was no such thing as wearing pants as a woman when I was a child.

Q: What has been your favorite experience or memory from church?
A: Seeing my children and my grandchildren saved.

Q: What difference has being a Christian made in your life?
A: I would have been a wreck without the Lord. It’s just the peace and contentment that comes from knowing the Lord and serving Him.
