Alabama Singing Women to tour in north Alabama

Alabama Singing Women (ASW), a state Baptist women’s choir, will hold its annual tour Nov. 15 and 17 in north Alabama.

The group will sing Nov. 15 at First Baptist Church, Guntersville, at 10:30 a.m. and at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Albertville, at 6 p.m.

ASW will also sing Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. during the Tuesday afternoon session of the Alabama Baptist State Convention annual meeting at Whitesburg Baptist Church, Huntsville.

ASW, which is composed of women from across Alabama who are active in their church’s music and worship ministries, is directed by Gayle Smith, a retired choral director from Auburn.
