Q: What was your childhood like?
A: I was the baby of 14 children, and I got a lot of attention. I was brought up in the church and always attended. We were so close as a family.
Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: My parents carried me to church all my life. I was 12 when I was baptized. I am so thankful I had Christian parents to show me the way.
Q: How have you been involved in church throughout the years?
A: I started playing the piano for the youth group when I was 14 years old. When I was 20 years old, the church got an organ. I took one lesson and I have been playing the organ in the church ever since.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in church in the future?
A: I want to play the organ as long as I am able. When I was a teenager, I made a promise to God that I would always be faithful and use what talent I have for the glory of God.
Q: What difference has being a Christian made in your life?
A: I am retired from our local radio station and from an insurance office, having worked in both places for a total of 55 years. I met a lot of people and tried to accommodate them in a Christlike manner. God has been with me all of my life. I tried to talk the talk and walk the walk.
