Judson College held its annual Employee Recognition Convocation on Nov. 3.
President David Potts presided and presented gifts to honorees.
“This has been a difficult financial year for us,” Potts noted. “This year may be called ‘the great recession’ in posterity. But our employees have carried on with the same enthusiasm, service and commitment in a year that we lived with less. Our students have not had any disruption in their education or care.”
Five-year honorees were Susie Allison, Amber Ellis, Dani Gunter, Tammy Hobson, Betty Ann Middlebrooks, Brett Stiefel, Latonia Bates and Brian Clements. Ten-year honorees were Lesia Hightower, Leigh Hobson, Beth Stoudenmier, John Weber and Ralph Young.
Donna Huey was recognized for 15 years of service, Charlotte Clements and Sandra Fowler for 20 years and Dan Thornton for 40 years.
Following the convocation, Potts hosted a luncheon for honorees and their families.
