For a decade, the University of Mobile has sponsored Art with a Southern Drawl, an exhibit which features the best in visual arts from seven Southern states. This year’s exhibition, the 10th annual celebration, will open to the public April 1, 2-4 p.m. A reception will be held with the winners being announced at 3 p.m.
The show, held in Martin Hall, will be open to the public weekdays April 1-30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A reception will be held with the winners being announced at 3 p.m.
The show, held in Martin Hall, will be open to the public weekdays April 1-30 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sundays, April 2, 8, 22 and 29, the show will be open 2-4 p.m. Admission is free. The show has been featured in regional publications including Southern Living magazine where it was cited as a season highlight featuring “an eclectic range of artwork, from the esoteric to the whimsical.” (TAB)
