Anne Williamson Shumaker, of Centre, was honored April 10 as she completed her two-year term as president of the Judson College Alumnae Association.
Shumaker has been an ardent supporter of Judson since her graduation in 1966. She’s served on the alumnae executive board in various capacities and the college’s board of trustees since 1990.
“Judson is one of my passions,” Shumaker said. “I enjoyed serving as alumnae president and meeting so many of my Judson sisters I’d not met before. It was an honor to serve, and I trust it was a way to help the college, too.”
Shumaker said during her presidency, she appreciated the hard work of all the officers, committee chairwomen, alumnae chapter officers and Alumnae Relations Director Jennifer Truelove.
Shumaker is a member of First Baptist Church, Centre.
