The headline story of the June 7 edition is appalling. “Lending a helping hand?” What about the nail-pierced hands of Jesus? He is not applauding this notion of Pluralistic worship. The tone of the article seems to indicate this practice is acceptable in Southern Baptist life. It is not. More importantly, this is contrary to Scripture.
“Loving our neighbor?” Hardly. The best thing we can do is to tell them the truth in love. Jesus is the only way.
