Big Sandy history

I am attempting to put together a complete history of Big Sandy Baptist church, Tuscaloosa Association.

I can verify from associational minutes that the church was received into the association in 1857.

Henry Foster, in his history of the Tuscaloosa County Baptist Association, lists the names of our founding pastors, but gave no other information.

The earliest church minutes are dated 1896, leaving a gap of almost 40 years for which the church has no information of its early existence.

J.D. Thompson, Sr., J.D. Thompson Jr., J.A. Hill, J.T. Yerby, W.A. Bishop, J.H. Huff, W.B. Carter, H.R. Schramm, J.R. McGill, W.H. Connell, A.D. Glass, E.O. Jackson, A.H. Mahaffey, W.K.E. James, C.J. White, John Caylor and O.D. Haney are the former pastors listed in Foster’s history.

I would be grateful if anyone could provide me with burial sites, dates of death and information about our former pastors.
