Mark Gignilliat of Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School will be guest lecturer at Judson College for its annual Christian Emphasis Week, Jan. 18–20.
Gignilliat is a popular pulpit guest and youth speaker in the Birmingham area. He has taught Hebrew, Old Testament exegesis and biblical theology at Beeson since 2005. He taught previously at Wycliffe Hall, University of Oxford.
Gignilliat will speak at three convocations in Ramsay-McCrummen Chapel at 11 a.m. each day and will visit several classes.
Additionally he will offer a preaching workshop for pastors on the afternoon of Jan. 18 titled, “Preaching the Gospel of Isaiah.” Pastors may register for the workshop by calling the office of LeaderCare and church administration at the Alabama Baptist Board of Missions at 1-800-264-1225.
