Embrace all Christians

Thank you for letting me share my story (“Doubling a Mother’s Day Blessing,” May 9 issue).

I hope it encouraged readers across the state.

While being interviewed I said I had prayed that both of my sons would have my Christian faith, and they do. I laughed as I stated that I learned God has a sense of humor, because in an interesting twist, my sons’ church denominations did an exact flip-flop.

The son who was raised Catholic is now Baptist and the son we raised as Baptist is now Catholic. Through this, God has taught me to embrace all Christians, no matter what their church affiliation is.
