Anne Graham Lotz will be the first of three speakers during the Sunday morning worship sponsored by the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists prior to this year’s Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) annual meeting.
The worship service is Phoenix will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 15 in the Symphony Hall across from the Phoenix Civic Plaza.
Jim McNeil, a Southern Baptist evangelist of 35 years from St. Louis, described Lotz, daughter of evangelist Billy Graham, as “a renowned Bible teacher.”
Also featured during the worship service will be:
Musical praise and worship featuring various music evangelists, led by Marion Warren, a longtime music evangelist from Euless, Texas, and current music director for the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists.
James Messer, an evangelist from Theodore (Ala.) near Mobile, known as the “Mel Tillis of evangelism.”
“The Cross Ministry,” a presentation on the death of Jesus from a medical perspective and His resurrection, with special lighting and sound effects, featuring David Ball, an evangelist/medical doctor from Batesville, Miss.
The evangelists also will hold a “Revival for Survival” symposium and question-and-answer session immediately following the Sunday night session of the SBC Pastors Conference.
The panelists will focus on churches, ministries and strategies “on the cutting edge of revival for the 21st-century church,” McNiel said. (BP)
