Jesse Brooks Foundation 52 Orphans Ghana Fashion Show

Jesse Brooks Foundation 52 Orphans Ghana Fashion Show

Clothing, jewelry and handbags handmade by pastors’ wives in Ghana will be modeled with style at the third annual Jesse Brooks Foundation 52 Orphans Ghana Fashion Show on Aug. 25 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Albertville Elementary School’s cafetorium. The foundation is based out of Solitude Baptist Church, Albertville.

The fashion show raises funds for orphans at the Good Shepherd Happy Children’s Home in Aflao, Ghana. The foundation carries on the dream of Jesse Brooks, a 10-year-old who wanted to become a missionary but was killed in a van wreck in 2002 while on her way home from a Montana missions trip.

The items will be modeled by the Brooks family, friends and volunteers. Christian Agboto, administrator of the orphanage and 60 Baptist churches, will be the guest speaker. Samuel Baah Sintim will also attend.

Attendees can purchase the items after the show or sign up to sponsor a child in Ghana, providing the means to attend a Christian school and one meal a day. For more information, visit www.jessebrooksfoundation.org, e-mail Tammy Brooks at tammybrooks13@gmail.com or call 256-558-6118.
