The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (SBOM) is offering training to the state’s youth leaders with the H.U.B., an April 15-16 training event at Heritage Baptist Church, Montgomery.
According to the SBOM Web site, effective youth ministry revolves around a central position, or H.U.B.- Having a heart for God; Understanding today’s youth and effective student ministry; and Building meaningful relationships.
To develop that central position, SBOM invites all those who work with youth, from youth ministers to Sunday School teachers and missions leaders to attend.
Beginning at 6:15 Friday night and ending Saturday at 12:15 p.m., the conference features general and worship sessions as well as breakout times geared specifically for certain aspects of youth ministry, such as missions, choir, creative ministries teams, Sunday School and discipleship training.
To register online, visit the SBOM Web site at www.alsbom.org/bcm-content/hub.htm.
