Rebecca N. Helms has been appointed by the North American Mission Board to serve in Hamilton, Ohio, where she serves as campus ministry strategist for Southwestern Baptist Association.
She was appointed under the USC-2 program in which young adults complete two years of missions service in the United States or Canada.
Helms, a native of Montgomery, is a graduate of Auburn University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
She previously served as a campus ministry intern in Milledgeville, Ga., and earlier served as a summer missionary in Stockton, Calif. She also has been a Sunday School teacher and Acteens leader.
