Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: Just before I was 12, I had this tugging in my heart. It got so strong. One day, when I was 12 years old, I accepted the Lord. He gave me a joy, a peace … and assurance.
Q: How has the Lord worked in your life?
A: Everything I need, I just ask the Lord. Before my husband died, he had a bad heart attack. My children were still in school. (I said,) “Lord, I don’t know how I can make it by myself.” And the Lord spared him seven more years. I just talk to the Lord like I’m talking to you.
Q: What difference has Jesus Christ made in your life?
A: He’s just my everything — I just totally depend on the Lord. He said I could talk to Him … so that’s what I do. The Lord has never failed me yet. I’ve never had trouble[s] that I just didn’t ask the Lord (about) and things [got better].
Q: How do you see yourself involved in visiting hospice patients as a ministry in the future?
A: Maybe sometime I should stop but I can’t. They enjoy the company so [much]. I just enjoy visiting with folks. I love people, my church and the Lord. He makes it all possible.
