Inman, Calvin C.

Calvin C. Inman, a retired Alabama Baptist pastor, died Dec. 30. He was 86.

Inman most recently served as pastor of Sardis Springs Baptist Church, Athens. He retired from the Limestone Baptist Association church in 1989.

In 37 years of ministry, Inman also served East Highland Baptist Church, Hartselle, in Limestone Association and five churches in Mississippi. He also briefly served the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions as an area consultant in the 1990s.

Inman received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College in Clinton in 1954 and master of divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1957.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Inman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucile, and one son. (TAB)
