Left-wing thinking

Are we ashamed of our name? Are we not proud of what we have been and what we have done in the past? The (Southern Baptist Convention) name change proposals are akin to political correctness, which has, once again, run amok. Would we be attempting to fool people into thinking we are not what we have been in the past?

I fear that the “possible” slight positive gains we would accomplish would be more than offset by the internal disappointment and anguish among loyal Southern Baptists, who have served this country well.
