Judson College’s former academic dean, W. Mark Tew, has published a commentary on the Gospel of Luke titled “Luke: Gospel to the Nameless and Faceless.”
The book was released in December by Wipf & Stock Publishers of Eugene, Ore.
Tew is now provost and chief academic officer at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas.
According to the publisher, the commentary combines “a detailed examination of the Greek text, a fresh translation of the Gospel and a commitment to presenting the meaning of the Gospel in a fluid and contemporary fashion” and “presents the advanced student and the casual reader with an inspirational look at the timeless beauty of Luke’s Gospel.”
