RICHMOND, Va. — Alana Joy Woolley, 51, died July 2 in Richmond, Va., after a short illness. She was an ordained minister and 23-year employee of the International Mission Board, where she was a manager in the Global Information Department. A graduate of Samford University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., she was a member of River Road Baptist Church, where she was ordained into the ministry. She was also a member of the Virginia Baptist Women in Ministry.
Graveside services were held in Tuscaloosa on July 7, and a memorial service was held at River Road Baptist Church on July 25.
