In the past 10 days, three babies have passed away at Beautiful Gate. They were all less than one month old and extremely weak and small.

It’s been a trying time for me; I have many questions about prayer and the sovereignty of God, about why some children suffer as innocent victims of HIV. But through it all, I’m learning to trust the character of God more than the situations of this world.

The five summer missionaries are quickly winding down their time here in Lesotho. It has flown by all too fast, and soon they will be on the plane back to the United States. My house will be quiet and empty soon, and I’m sure I’ll have a little bit of withdrawal after their departure.

My friend in the hospital, Sweet Pea, is doing much better. Just today I went to see her, and she was sitting up in the bed for the first time. Praise God for this amazing progress He continues to give. The youth at Ha Foso Baptist Church continue to study the spiritual gifts of 1 Corinthians 12. Please continue to pray for this small church, as they seek to grow in knowledge and understanding of our Lord.
