Pray for us as we make preparations to attend meetings and host teams this summer. Pray for Marilee Flook and her children as they recover from their robbery. Continue to pray for the 4,500 villages in the Dominican Republic that are without a church.
Also, pray for the Dominican Republic in this time of economic and political crisis.
In the rural Dominican Republic, there is a high illiteracy rate. And even of those who can read the words on the page, many lack the ability to comprehend what they have read.
On the rural strategy team, we have been teaching a Bible storying method of evangelism to the emerging leaders within the church. This method has worked well, but many have not used those methods to lead others to Christ.
Please pray for the five Dominican men and the missionaries who are using this method. Pray that it will be more than a method, but rather a way of seeing a true domino effect as they reach others for Christ.
We are all getting ready to have quite a busy summer. There will not be much down time for any of us. Although we will be updating you as these activities draw nearer, we ask that you begin praying for these events even now.
Pray that God will go before us in all the planning.
