Q: What influences in your life pointed you to Christ at the beginning of your faith journey?

A: At the age of nine I joined the church that I am a member of now. My father was a preacher there for 50 years.

Q: When and how were you led into the ministry?

A: Growing up in a Christian home and being a pastor’s child I was taught [that] you obey the Lord and follow His will.

Q: Why have you continued serving through the years?

A: Well I’ve just always found peace, joy and contentment in doing what the Lord wanted me to do.

Q: What does the ministry demand?

A: A lot of time, a faithful prayer life and the study of the Bible.

Q: What do you get from the ministry?

A: The blessings of seeing people and youth become closer to the Lord through the ministry. I enjoy seeing the church and the people grow in their walk with the Lord. It brings joy and peace to my life. … The Lord has done so much for me that I could never repay Him.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in ministry service in the future?

A: Well I just kind of leave that up to the Lord. Wherever He leads, that’s where I hope to be.

Q: What difference will this ministry make for you in the future?

A: I feel like my ministry will make my life fulfilling.
