State Board of Missions officers

Tim Cox (second from right), pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, Chelsea, was elected chairman of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions on Nov. 14 following the close of the state convention annual meeting. Elected vice chairman is Chip Starnes (far right), pastor of First Baptist Church, Bay Minette. State missionary Mary Sue Bennett (second from left) continues to serve as SBOM secretary.

These officers work alongside Rick Lance (far left), SBOM executive director, and with about 125 Alabama Baptist leaders who serve on the SBOM of the state convention.
