Miss University of Mobile 2013 Crowned

Ember Langley was crowned 2013 Miss University of Mobile (UMobile) on Feb. 2 and will represent UMobile for the upcoming year.

Langley, sophomore communication major from Fairhope, performed the song “Glitter and Be Gay” for her talent at the Miss UMobile Pageant held at the Saraland Performing Arts Center. Her platform was “Changing the World with our Fingertips.”

The Miss UMobile pageant is an official qualifier sponsored by Miss America, giving Langley the opportunity to participate in the Miss Alabama pageant in June.

First runner-up was Adrienne Smith, sophomore early childhood and elementary education major from Gilbertown. Smith also won the swimsuit competition.

Second runner-up was Chelsea Seitz, sophomore music major from Mobile. Seitz also won the talent competition.

Miss Congeniality was Holly Dunnam, junior early childhood and elementary education major from Mobile.
