COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The International Bible Society (IBS) has released a new children’s book titled “God’s Great Love” with the goal of helping children ages 4 to 10 understand God’s love for them. The book uses actual Scripture text and two characters, Daniel and Deborah, to tell important Bible stories from the story of creation to the resurrection of Jesus. The book is written at the third- grade reading level and includes large, full-color illustrations. “We believe there is inherent power in God’s Word to change lives,” said Lisa Anderson, IBS associate editor in product development. “The creation of ‘God’s Great Love’ grew out of our desire to present the big story of the Bible in the words of the Bible itself.” International Bible Society, founded in 1809, faithfully translates, publishes and reaches out with God’s Word so that people around the world may become disciples of Jesus.
