The letter in the Jan. 3 issue of The Baptist regarding Anne Graham Lotz’s participation on the program is narrow-minded and Scripturally unfounded.
Mrs. Lotz is a God-ordained, blessed and inspired preacher and teacher of the Word. Mr. Fisher’s time would be better spent reading Scripture with an enlightened and open-minded approach.
Sometimes I think the persons who criticize the most are the ones who know the least, especially when it comes to interpreting Scripture and discerning women’s roles, gifts and abilities. While many Southern Baptists bicker and complain in a changing religious world, the rest of us are out there in the trenches finding ways to include all in hearing, teaching and preaching the gospel.
