As a result of world events, routine mail has been very slow. Like most folks I’ve had an overdose of the news media’s shallow perspective of world events. Recently, I have been thrilled to again start receiving back issues of The
Alabama Baptist and the truth and hope that The Alabama Baptist represents. Your Oct. 11 editorial, “Standing Where We Do Not Want to Stand,” was especially inspiring. This truth and hope was needed more than ever in the fall of 2001.
