FORT WORTH, Texas — Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in suburban Dallas, has been named the new speaker for FamilyNet Television’s “The Baptist Hour” program, effective April 4. FamilyNet is the broadcast communications subsidiary of the North American Mission Board (NAMB).
The weekly show for the past 11 years has featured Frank Pollard, who retired recently as pastor of First Baptist Church of Jackson, Miss., and his related broadcast ministry. First Baptist Church of Jackson will continue a weekly program on FamilyNet called “Victory in Jesus.” Pollard’s preaching role on the radio version of “The Baptist Hour” has been assumed by Robert E. Reccord, NAMB’s president.
The Baptist Hour airs on FamilyNet Television Thursdays at 7 a.m. and Sundays at 2 and 8 p.m. ET.
A new Internet Web site, www.baptisthour.com, will feature a streaming-audio version of the radio program and other resources. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, FamilyNet is a 24-hour television network. More information is available at www.FamilyNetTV.com.
