Cards for Inmates

I want to thank all the readers of The Alabama Baptist who helped with Christmas Cards for the HIV inmates at Limestone Correctional Facility. We collected and delivered more than 6,000 beautiful Christmas cards. Now it is time to begin collecting Easter cards and we need your help again. We follow the same guidelines as we did for Christmas cards: sign the cards, do not include a return address and do not seal the envelope. We will need the cards by April 5 in order to process them and get them to the inmates for Easter. Send cards to MAC D Ministries, c/o Scarlett Dunnam, 4030 6th Street East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404. Because the HIV inmates are now housed in more facilities than just Limestone, the cards will be distributed a little differently. You can be sure that the cards will go to inmates who need a special touch of care and encouragement. Who can better give that than Alabama Baptists and their friends who want to follow in the footsteps of Jesus?
