I agree wholeheartedly with E.L. Carter on his article “Pulpit Politicking.”
The pulpit is no place for politics. We have a mixed group in our church political wise.
For some reason the Republicans seem to think they are the only Christians living. We have many Democrats in our midst who are large supporters of the church, financially and in attendance.
It is wrong for a pastor or any member of the church to stand up and tell you who to vote for. This applies to Sunday School teachers also. It’s time the churches keep out of politics and stick to saving souls, Democrats and Republicans.
