NASHVILLE — Gifts to the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program (CP) in June were 5.94 percent below gifts for June 2001, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and Chief Executive Officer Morris H. Chapman. Year-to-date support for CP missions, meanwhile, now stands at 3.92 percent ahead of totals at this same point last year.
June’s $14,712,972.46 in CP gifts to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America compared to $15,642,033.39 in June 2001, a difference of $929,060.93.
Designated gifts of $14,494,864.70 in June, meanwhile, were 33.07 percent below June 2001’s $21,657,483.42, a decrease of $7,162,618.72.
