Ethnic diversity displayed in groups’ meetings prior to SBC

Mighty Men of God men’s choir from New Seasons Church, Spring Valley, Calif., sings during the worship service of the National African American Fellowship on June 8 at Seventh Metro Baptist Church, Baltimore. Many other groups met during the days leading up to the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting (June 10–11) including: Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists, Fellowship of Baptist World Ministries, Fellowship of Native American Christians, Filipino Southern Baptist Fellowship of North America and National Fellowship of Hispanic Southern Baptists. Numerous Southern Baptist seminaries and universities also held receptions.
