Pastor, Professor and Award-winning Author to Speak at UMobile Chapel

Denny Burk, professor of biblical studies at Boyce College in Louisville, Ky., and author of the award-winning book “What Is the Meaning of Sex?” will discuss sex, marriage and gender at the University of Mobile (UMobile) on Oct. 1.

Burk, who also serves as associate pastor of Kenwood Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky., frequently writes on biblical and theological issues. As illustrated by his works, including “What is the Meaning of Sex?” and “Gender Confusion and a Gospel-Shaped Counter-Culture,” Burk has a special interest in biblical sexual ethics.

In his books Burk says he aims to equip individuals so they can engage a confused culture with a God-glorifying vision of human sexuality.
