The University of Mobile (UMobile) School of Christian Ministries is seeking nominees for the Order of the Shophar Award, which honors Alabama Baptist State Convention ministers for faithful service that might otherwise go unrecognized.
“This is an award for unsung heroes in ministry,” said Douglas Wilson, dean and professor of Christian ministries.
Anyone can nominate a minister for consideration and the deadline for nominations is March 1.
Nominations can be submitted online at www.umobile.edu/shopharaward, or to receive a nomination form contact the School of Christian Ministries office at 251-442-2406.
