Are you in the process of writing a book or interested in becoming a published author? If so, “The Book Writing Boot Camp” may offer some helpful tips for the journey.
Author and Alabama Baptist Denise George, who’s written 30 published books with Tyndale House, LifeWay, Bethany House and others, will host two full-day seminars April 10–11 at Canterbury United Methodist Church, Mountain Brook. Both seminars will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On April 10, “How to Become a Published Author” will introduce participants to the world of writing to publish and will equip them with basic information to get started. George will share about writing as a career or hobby and help participants understand the marketplace of magazine and book publishing.
“Publishing Your Book with a Traditional Author” will be held April 11. The seminar will focus on how to identify strong book ideas, find a book agent and approach a traditional publisher.
Space is limited and registration is open online.
