James Watkins

James Watkins is the new pastor of West End Church, Clanton. He will begin serving in January 2017. He previously served as pastor of First Church, Leroy, for 25 years and was recently awarded the Troy L. Morrison Leadership/Church Health Award for established work. He is an Alabama Athletic Association certified volunteer baseball coach. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree from New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Karen, have two children.
