Tuscaloosa
Nate Young is the new executive pastor of North River Church, Tuscaloosa. He previously served as Baptist campus minister for the University of Alabama (UA). Young holds a bachelor’s degree from UA and a master’s degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Carrie, have two children. Scott Reynolds is pastor of North River.
The family will welcome visitors from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at FBC Guntersville (1000 Gunter Avenue). A brief memorial service will be held at the church beginning at 5 p.m.
Emory Williams is a missionary kid in Santiago, Chile. His parents, Landon and Megan Williams, serve with the International Mission Board as church planters and mobilizers.
