St. Clair Association is offering English as a Second Language classes for adults each Wednesday at three locations. The 9:30–11:30 a.m. classes meet at the association office in Ashville. Dale Barnes, a longtime Alabama Baptist pastor and distinguished Vietnam War veteran, died Jan. 7. He served four Alabama churches — Calvary Baptist in Prattville; Beulah Baptist in Wetumpka; Rock Springs Baptist and Titus Baptist.
