Two University of Mobile (UM) professors received an award for leadership and contribution to a team focused on the preparation of early educators in the state of Alabama.
UM School of Education Dean Carolyn Corliss and assistant professor of education Ashley Milner received the Childhood Education Innovative Program Award this summer.
Corliss and Milner were recognized for their leadership in the network and exemplary development of their department’s early education focus. The network’s leadership consists of forward-thinking and proven early educator preparation professionals from four Alabama universities.
