This book doesn’t focus on programs to get your church pumping on all cylinders; it dives deeper.
McIntosh writes about the five life cycles of a congregation and includes a questionnaire that helps church leadership get a clearer picture of where they are in the cycle. He also writes about the five church sizes and how to lead from one church size to another. He then “outlines the improvements that must be made at each point if a church is to remain fruitful and faithful to its mission over many years.”
The book is statistical but also conversational. Every pastor and church will find themselves on the pages.
