Church on the Bluff (formerly Bluff Park Church), Hoover, will celebrate its 120th anniversary Oct. 14, 10 a.m. Former pastor Richard Trader will speak, and former music ministers Harold Newberry, Wayne Goodwin and Steve Yarborough will share special music. A covered-dish lunch will follow the service. Tony Barber is pastor.
