Your editorial in the Jan. 27 issue was very appropriate, and I think it was long overdue. The basic tenets of Baptist policy hold that the congregation is a separate unit and nothing is over it. Baptist churches must retain their autonomy and resist any attack on it. Thank you for a timely reminder of a dangerous trend.
