Adam Rice is the new associate pastor of Capshaw Church, Harvest. He previously served as minister of education and young adults at First Church, Hartselle. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and a master’s degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. Rice and his wife, Sarah, have three children. Zach Terry is pastor.
Birmingham Metro Baptist Association’s Chris Crain was selected as the Associational Mission Strategist of the Year by the Southern Baptist Conference for Associational Leaders at the organization’s annual meeting in Orlando, June 7-8.

Trinity Hill Church in Montverde, Florida, sits about 18 miles northwest of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando — and the launching members are holding a preview service this morning (June 7) starting at 10 a.m.
We went to dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants. The food is usually great there and the service is prompt. But this particular night was different.
