The Alabama African American Fellowship Banquet will take place Monday, Nov. 14, from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. at Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Birmingham in room Worship 200.
The event will be held in conjunction with the Alabama Baptist Pastors Conference and the Alabama Baptist State Convention annual meeting.
Focusing on the topic, “Encouraging Kingdom Growth Through Collaboration,” the event will feature speaker James Dixon Jr., pastor of El-Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Washington, Maryland.
Organizers also are planning to launch an Alabama chapter of the National African American Fellowship, SBC. NAAF is a network of more than 4,000 predominantly African American pastors and churches affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
