Alabamians graduating from seminary during the December graduations included students at Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School, New Orleans Seminary and Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
Other seminaries did not notify The Alabama Baptist of any Alabama graduates.
Of the 24 graduates at Beeson during the Dec. 18 graduation exercises, six were Alabama Baptists.
Graduates include, by degree:
Master of Divinity – John Nelson Hannah, Birmingham; Daniel Alan Hughes, Birmingham; Daniel Lanier Thomas, Huntsville; and Jothan Fredric White, Sheffield.
Doctor of Ministry – Keith Donald Warden, Wetumpka; and Charles McDaniel “Danny” Wood, Jr., pastor of Shades Mountain Baptist, Vestavia Hills.
In Dec. 17 exercises at New Orleans Seminary five Alabamians were among the master’s level graduates.
Receiving a master of divinity degree were: Stephen H. Burgess of Ohatchee; Christopher Warren Crain, pastor of Bellevue Baptist, Birmingham; and Donald Richard “Chad” Harrison, JR., pastor of St. Florian Mission Church, Florence.
Receiving the Master of Arts degree was Glenn A. Jackson.
Jeffrey Scott Quiett of Birmingham received a doctor of philosophy degree.
Two Alabamians also were among the 86 students who graduates from Southern Seminary in its 184th commencement held Dec. 10.
Terry Wayne Jenks of Sylacauga and Bryan Wallace of Cherokee both received master of divinity degrees.
