Allen Brasher, pastor of Second Baptist Church, Pell City, died Jan. 5 of complications from COVID-19. He was 74. A graduate of Leeds High School, Brasher served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Before serving at Second Baptist, he served as associate pastor of Pineview Baptist Church, Irondale.
